Extra Sweet & Simple Apple Pie 

  • Ready Made Pie Crust
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 5 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Golden Delicious apple
  • Jarred caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup fine sugar
  • 1. Carefully place one dough circle into pie plate and gently press into form of plate. Trim excess dough around the edge with the back of a knife.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • 3. Peel, core, and slice apples. Mix apple slices with sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Place apple mixture in pie shell.
  • 4. Place second pie crust on top and form to the edges of the pie plate. Dust top with sugar. Cut slits in the top crust to allow for steam to release in oven. Bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, until pie is fully baked and apples are tender.
  • 5. Heat a few tablespoons of the caramel sauce in a 1 qt. saucepan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the pie.
